Contemporary Painting

Born in West-Berlin, I grew up in an artistic family. Art has always accompanied me ever since I can remember. At the age of 6, I first started drawing picture stories, and when I turned 19, I had my first solo exhibition. Since then, my work has become part of an ongoing exploration of identity. In my art, I depict and capture situations in an intuitive way that allows me to deal with sensory overload. I like to paint in layers, and painting for me is a process of constant change. In the most basic sense, my paintings are fragments of subconscious feelings made visible. I mostly use mixed media, including the remaining ashes from a coal-fired stove.
I live and work in Berlin.
